Understanding the System tab indicators

What is the network interface?

The network interface corresponds to bandwidth. This indicator shows the amount of data received and sent by your server, referred to in DEM as incoming traffic and outgoing traffic. For example, when someone visits your site, that is incoming traffic.

What is memory?

Memory stores short-term information. For example, it is the resource that causes latency on a computer when many tasks run simultaneously. The memory graph should not vary significantly, and in our experience memory rarely causes issues.

What is the disk?

The disk stores long-term information; this is where assets such as images are kept.

Like memory, disk usage should not vary dramatically over time and is not typically a factor that would cause large increases in load times or make your site unavailable.
